EasyCare Colorado is transforming health care by providing patients easy access to their doctors and other members of their health care team through everyday devices like smart phones and tablets. This service is provided at no cost to you. With EasyCare Colorado, you can text or video chat with members of your health care team, saving you time and money.


How do I register for EasyCare?

To gain access to EasyCare Colorado, your doctor must invite you to use the platform. If your participating provider hasn’t invited you, but you think they should, bring it up at your next appointment.


How do I activate my EasyCare Colorado account?

To gain access to EasyCare Colorado, a participating provider needs to invite you to join the service. If you've been invited, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to set up your account. You'll need a computer or mobile device with a high-speed Internet connection. You can download the app for your iOS mobile device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) from the Apple App Store or download the app for your Android mobile device from the Google Play Store by searching for EasyCareCO. If you're connecting through your computer, sign in. EasyCare Colorado recommends using Google Chrome as your web browser. Once EasyCare Colorado is loaded onto your device, you can send a message immediately. You can enter the video chat from your device up to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment, and your clinician will join when they're ready. To video chat, your computer will need a webcam and microphone.

What technology do I need to use EasyCare Colorado?

From a mobile device:

  • An iOS device (iPhone 5s/iPad 4th generation) with the latest operating system updated (iOS 9+) and the EasyCare Colorado iOS app installed.
  • An Android device (less than 2 years old) with at least KitKat (4.4.4) and the EasyCare Colorado Android app installed.

From a computer:

  • A modern desktop or laptop computer running PC-Windows 7+ or Apple-OSX 10.6+.
  • Google Chrome and Firefox are preferred web browsers because they update automatically (Safari and Internet Explorer 11 are not completely compatible with EasyCare Colorado’s video chat technology).
  • A stable, high speed internet connection.
  • Most patients start by texting the doctor, but it you want to be able to have video chats, your computer will need to have a webcam.

Can my kids and spouse use EasyCare Colorado?

If your spouse or child is invited to the service, they will receive an activation email, just like yours. To access the platform they will need to create their own account and login as themselves.

If your children are minors (under 18), the guardian must create an account for the minor, login as the minor, and then conduct the consultation on the minor's behalf. If your child is over 18, they will need to create their own account and login as themselves.


Is EasyCare Colorado safe and private?

Yes, EasyCare Colorado is HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant, so your information is both safe and private.


Is there a record of my EasyCare Colorado visit?

Yes, EasyCare Colorado maintains a complete record of your online visit, which is available for you to review at your convenience.


Do doctors have access to my health information?

Since you'll be speaking with members of your existing medical team, they will have access to the same information they see when you meet in person. When you register for EasyCare Colorado, you will fill out your basic medical history, just like you would for a regular office visit. The clinic staff will have access to this information as well.
